Opelousas, LA – September 20, 2025 – The Opelousas Pregnancy Center proudly announces its annual Be the Spark Gala on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The gala will take place at Our Savior’s Church, Opelousas, and promises to be an evening filled with inspiration, celebration, and generosity.
This year’s theme, “Joy,” reflects the Center’s mission to walk alongside women and families facing unexpected pregnancies while sharing the truth that every life is a gift worth celebrating. The gala will bring together the community in support of the vital work of the Opelousas Pregnancy Center, which provides pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, mentor sessions, educational classes, and essential baby supplies—all free of charge. Beyond these services, the Center offers spiritual encouragement, sharing the Gospel and extending God’s joy to women and families in need.
Guests at the Be the Spark Gala will enjoy a delicious meal catered by Brent’s, silent and live auctions featuring exclusive items and experiences, and a 360° photo booth for capturing memories of the evening. A professional photographer will also be on hand to document the night, and live music will create an uplifting atmosphere of joy and celebration.
Through this year’s theme, the Center reminds supporters that true joy comes from the Lord and that even in life’s challenges, joy can be found in choosing hope, love, and faith. Many of the Center’s clients face uncertainty and adversity, often without strong support systems. The Opelousas Pregnancy Center continues to stand in the gap, offering physical resources as well as emotional and spiritual care to guide families on their journey.
All proceeds from the gala directly fund the programs and services of the Opelousas Pregnancy Center, ensuring women and families continue to receive compassionate, Christ-centered care.
