Opelousas, LA - September 26, 2024 - The Opelousas Pregnancy Center proudly announces its annual Be the Spark Gala on Saturday, October 26, 2024. The gala will take place at Our Savior’s Church Opelousas and promises to be an evening filled with inspiration, celebration, and generosity.
This year's theme, “Anchored in Hope,” reflects the Center’s unwavering mission to be a beacon of refuge for women facing unexpected pregnancies. The gala will bring together the community to support the vital work of the Opelousas Pregnancy Center, which offers pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, mentor sessions, educational classes, and essential baby supplies- all at no cost. Beyond these services, the Center serves as a spiritual anchor, sharing the Gospel and providing a steady source of truth and hope for women in need.
Guests at the Be the Spark of Hope Gala will enjoy a delicious meal, silent and live auctions featuring exclusive items and experiences, and a live painter who will capture the beauty of the evening through art. A photo booth will be available for attendees to commemorate the night, and live music will set the tone for a joyful, uplifting celebration.
Through this theme, the Center reminds supporters that, just as an anchor holds a ship steady in the storm, hope in the Lord provides stability and peace for women in their most challenging moments. Many of the Center’s clients face uncertainty and adversity and often lack a strong support system. The Opelousas Pregnancy Center stands in the gap, providing physical resources and emotional and spiritual support to guide them through their journey.

All proceeds from the event will go directly toward the programs and services offered by the Opelousas Pregnancy Center, ensuring that women continue to receive the compassionate care they need.
